Introduction
When activated, will show a checkbox on the merchandiser login screen on the kiosks. If the checkbox is checked. Will then take you to a new merchandiser window known as Simple Merch. This mode will guide you step by step through your merchandising needs.

Accessing Simple Merch
To access the simple merch flow, all you need to do is navigate to the normal merchandiser login screen and login with your simple merch account. See later section here on how to create your account (Admin->Staff).
Merchandiser Operations
In the header (top menu) there are few things to know about:
- Total Inventory: Will display the current total amount of products in the kiosk. Refreshes every 30sec or by clicking on it.
- Operations: This is a button that when clicked expands and provides 3 options:
- Sync All: Will sync all settings, images, files, prices, products etc to the kiosk. Some of the synced data might require a restart to take affect.
- Reboot: Will restart the computer.
- Close KW: Will close the software. So that you can manually start it again from the watchdog or wait up to 10minutes for it to automatically start itself.
- Lock/Unlock: This button toggles unlocking and locking the kiosk.
- Exit Door: Will log you out from the simple merchandising mode.
Merchandiser Flow
Shows a list of the potential steps you can get. On each page there is a Continue button that you can use to progress through the steps.
- Locked: If the kiosk is locked for any reason such as bad temperature the first step will be the option to unlock the kiosk.
- Waste: This is the first step unless the kiosk is locked. Give you the opportunity to remove products that are waste. Waste differs from removal, as waste refers to products that have gone bad.
- Planogram: If there is a new pushed planogram update to the kiosk, then the planogram page will appear giving you the choice to perform the planogram update.
- Layout: Here you are given the choice to do general inventory changes. This is very similar to the normal Setup Inventory tab in the normal merchandiser mode.
- Replenish: If the kiosk has replenishment orders, then you will get to this page where you have the option to complete replenish orders.
- Removal: This is the place where you remove products from the kiosk. It could be that you want to remove them and then later bring them to a different location. Remember to use the Waste page if the removals you are doing are waste.
- Restock: Here is the final place where you can do both removals and refills. It’s the last step and is based on the Restock page from the normal merchandising mode.
You can always navigate back to the starting step from the footer button “To Start”:
After each step you go through, you will be prompted with a question if you would like to do the next step in the queue:
In the scenario above the following would be the result:
- Yes: Brings you to the waste items page.
- No: Takes you to the next step.

In order to access the simple merch pages on the kiosk. You need to create a simple merchandiser account. To do so navigate to: Network->Staff->Kiosk Staff. Select the “Simple Merch” permission level and hit save.

There is no inventory app support for this feature.
