The Inventory APP is an application created to be used as a merchandising tool from
your phone. Here you can do all the procedures you can do from the merchandising on
the kiosk from the comfort of your phone.
Sign-in
When first launching the app, you are greeted with the login page. Enter your
credentials and click the login button to get in the app. You have the option to tell the
app to keep you logged in by checking the check box “Auto login”. Also, if you have
forgotten your password there is the option to reset it by clicking “Forgot password”
Endpoint selection
Once you login on the first page, if you have access to multiple endpoints/databases
you can choose which one you want to access. In the image below the account has
access to two databases Operator and TremaSport.
Connect to kiosk
Once choosing the database you have three options to choose from, the first one is
Connect, this will start the camera and enable you to scan the QR code on the kiosk to
enter it.
The 2nd option is “Connect without QR” with this feature you can remotely enter a kiosk
by selecting it from the list that will be displayed and investigate if needed, for example
you can remote to a kiosk to remotely restart it or shut it down if needed.
The 3rd option is “My Picklist” - To be added!
Inventory Section
Once connected to a kiosk a screen with a few options will open with the menu on the
bottom, On the top there is the option to disconnect to the kiosk and stop the
merchandising mode.
Manage Inventory
The first option in the Inventory menu is Manage Inventory. On this page you have the
list of shelves available in the kiosk and the products set up on them. The shelf IDs are
on the left side and the slot IDs on the top.
To enable or disable a slot hold on the desired slot and a popup message will be shown
asking you if you want to change the status on the slot.
To set up a product press twice on an enabled slot and a new page with a list of
products will be shown. You can filter the product by using the search option on the top
of the page, or use your camera to scan the barcode of the product (For this to work the
products need to have their barcode entered in the admin back office)
Once a product has been selected the next step is setting up the LEDs under the slot to
cover the whole slot. On the top you have a dropdown to select which shelf you are
setting up. Then you select the starting point of the slot with the Left Position slider and
then the ending of the slot with the Right Position slider. Once finished click on the Next
button.
After the LEDs have been set up you need to weigh in the products you are setting up.
For this you will need to take one of the products and place it on the slot you are setting
up. Once that is done you will get the weight of the product under New Weight then just
press the ADD button and repeat this process with at least 3 products to get a good
average weight. After that press the finish button and the setup process is done.
Product Levels
The 2nd option on the Inventory Page is Product levels, here you have an overview of
the stock in the kiosk. This page uses the Alert amount set on the products in the admin
back office to show the level of the stock.
Red = Critical Level
Yellow = Near Critical Level
Green = OK Level
Scannable
In this section you can manage the scannable products if you are using them. You can
create virtual shelves by pressing the Add free slots button, this will add 4 slots that you
are then available to set product on them either by using the Scan button and scanning
the barcode or the Change Product to add a product manually and adjust the quantity of
it.
Register Obsolete
In this function you select a specific product that you want to make obsolete = register
as waste. This product will then be registered as waste.
Replenish
On this page you can see the replenish order created from the admin back office and
manipulate them.
Setup Section
The 2nd section in the menu below is the Setup section, here you can manage the
shelves on the kiosk.
Setup Section
This section was used to detect the shelves in the kiosk on the first start up, this
process is automated now, so not in use now.
Calibrate Section
The 2nd option of the Setup section is calibration. On this page you select the shelf you
want to calibrate. On the first startup of the kiosk its mandatory to calibrate/recalibrate
all the shelves.
The next page after selecting the shelf for calibration is entering the weight you are
going to use to calibrate the shelves. There is always a 1KG weight supplied with the
kiosk to perform calibration.
After entering the weight, you are taken on the following page. Here you need to place
the weight on the designated slot on the shelf you are calibrating. The Stable text will
change red and say Unstable, and then it should go back to stable. This means that the
weight sensor detected the weight and has stabilized so you can click the Calibrate
button. You will need to do this for all slots on the shelf. Also, on this page its always 4
slots shown so if your shelf has 3 slots just press skip on the last one, it will say
disabled to help you see what slot it's not available.
Manage IQ box
The 3rd option on the Setup section is Manage IQ box, here you can change the order
of the IQ box, if you have multiple IQ boxes and they are unordered you can use this
page to set the correct order starting from the left kiosk all the way to the right.
Slot Options
The 4th option on the Setup section is Slot options. On this page you can tear the values
from the slot, so this is used in case you want to add a container to hold the products.
Planogram
The final option of the Setup section is planograms. You can use planograms to preload
product layout in the cooler or just a shelf layout to enable the slots and set the LEDs so
you can make the setup easier. Selecta a premade planogram from the list and click
twice on it, this will prompt you if you wish to load the planogram to the cooler.
There is also the option to create a planogram, if you have done the setup of the cooler
and wish to store the planogram to use on another cooler you can enter a name for the
planogram and click the Create Planogram button.
Maintenance section
The 3rd option in the menu is the maintenance section. This section is used to monitor
and test the system.
Sensors
The 1st option is Sensors. On this page you have an overview of the locks and
temperature sensors inside the kiosks if they have them.
Test System
The 2nd option on the Maintenance section is Test System. On this page you can place
weights on the empty shelves to test what values they give. If using the 1KG weight you
should have a near 1000gr weight when you place the weight on a slot and near
–1000gr when you remove it.
Monitor Sections
The 3rd option on the Maintenance section is Monitor Sections. On this page you can
check if we have communication with all the slots. On the top you have Missing serials,
if there are some serials in that line it means we do not have communication with the
whole shelf. To test if we have communication with the slots, you can open the door and
with your hand touch a slot that you want to test, the slot will go red on the screen and
after a few seconds it will go green once it stabilizes. This means that the slot is
functioning, if you have a slot that is red all the time it means that the slot is constantly
unstable and needs to be investigated.
Verify
This function shows percentage (%) of what the difference is between the weighted
product and the product that you took from the shelf. This gives a quick overview of
whether it is right or wrong when the result appears as green or red. This function is
available so that you can test that the system is working correctly and that the products
are correctly weighted.
Assign Static QR
On this page you can assign a printed QR code to be able to open the kiosk, this is
mostly used on kiosks with no screens on them so customers can scan the printed QR
code to do transactions.
Utilities section
This is the last option in the menu. On this page you can manipulate the system.
● Close the Kiosk ware application
● Restart The computer
● Restart the IQ boxes
● Shutdown the computer
● Sync options
● Locks options
Sync
This page is used to manually sync information from the servers down to the kiosk. So,
if you have made changes in the admin back office and want to sync them down to the
kiosk manually faster than just navigate to this page and sync the Settings, Inventory or
Files. Also, if there is a newer version available of the software you can click on the
update software button.
Handle Lock
On this page you can manipulate the locks of the kiosk.
● If you for any reason want to have the kiosk open in some designated hours
you can set times when the kiosk should be open or override an existing
unlocking period.
● If the cooler is locked because of temperature or power loss you can remove
the locking by pressing the Remove locking button that is in the middle of the
page.
● You can unlock or lock the locks by pressing the buttons on the bottom of the
page.
