Please note that there generally are two different kinds of reports in admin when it comes to sales data. These are financial and statistical and they cannot be compared when trying to reconcile data. Statistical reports look at the transaction date, while financial reports look at the payment date. There are many ways discrepancies can arise between the two types of reports, such as delayed captures, partial captures, and no captures.
The search result from a report (that is shown in the grid) can always be exported in admin by clicking the Export button down in the right corner. If one want to automate it to run a report at specific times and send the results one can do that by the schedule report feature.
