Insert Unknown RFID
When to use: If you have an RFID tag and you are uncertain if it is still in use (active on a unfinished reservation).
In kiosk merch mode, on the Merchandising tap, you can navigate to Insert. Here there is a button called Insert Unknown RFID. When clicked you will be provided an empty slot so that you can put in a RFID tag.
This button will do the following:
- The RFID inserted will be removed from other slots if it was currently listed in any of them. And will be inserted into the slot that you where given.
- It will complete any reservation still linked to that RFID. So that the RFID can be re-used properly.
Remove RFID
When to use: This button can be used if you quickly want to clear a certain slot of it’s RFID. It will not perform a delivery; it will simply set the slot to have no RFID.
On the Inventory tab, you can locate a slot from the list.
Here you will find the button:
When clicked you will be prompted with the following:
Click Yes to clear the slot from its RFID.
Remove RFID and Finish Reservation
When to use: This button can be used if you quickly want to clear a certain slot of it’s RFID and finish any active reservation that are linked to that RFID. It will not perform a delivery; it will simply set the slot to have no RFID and set any reservations as completed.
On the Inventory tab, you can locate a slot from the list.
Here you will find the button:
When clicked you will be prompted with the following:
Click Yes to clear the slot from its RFID and the reservations linked to that RFID.
