Introduction
Provides the option to enable a system where products can have different prices/tax. Depending on whether the user picks to eat here or bring the goods away.
The user will be given the question before we unlock the coolers (prior to picking/scanning products).

Requires the following kiosk version:
- InventoryOS: 1.193
- StoreOS: 1.206

Question
A message box similar to this one below will show up after login to the kiosk:
The message box will display for 50% of the idle time. So, if the setting “idletimeout” is set to 2minutes, the message box will show for 1minute. If the message box times out, the choice “No” will be selected for the customer.

Admin
There are a few places in admin to consider for the new price types. We explain those areas in this section.
Price Types
Here are the different price types that exist on the instant platform.

Product Search
On the product search page:
- Network -> Inventory -> Product Search
There is now a new field for entering the “eat here” prices:
In the example above, we input that the products total price including tax should be 100. After that we set what tax rate the product should have, in this example 10. After that we click the “+” button and the price and tax is generated for us. It is the bottom 2 fields that are stored for the product as the price and tax.
External Details Report
Navigate to:
- Customer Service -> Transaction External Details
In the following report you can see the choices made by the customers at your kiosks.
Price Overrides
In admin you can navigate to:
- Network -> Settings -> Price -> Price Overrides
From here you can override all price types.
Here is the new “eat here” part for price overrides:
Lova
When scanning the QR code on a kiosk/store with the system enabled, you will be asked in the app if you wish to eat here or take the food with you.
