Lova Notifications (Cloud Messaging)

Cloud Messaging makes it possible, via Admin to schedule the sending of messages that are delivered as notifications directly to Lova users’ devices.

To access it in the admin, go to Administration > PayaP > Cloud Messaging

The main purpose with this is to be able to communicate current offers to all users who have previously shopped in the kiosk(s) where the offer applies. Admin users set this kiosk filter when mailing is created/scheduled.

The message will reach the user regardless of either the App is off, in the background or active.

• When the user clicks on the notification, the App will open, and the offer will show a detailed view.
• If the App is active when the messages are sent out, the detailed view will be showed immediately

 To Create a new Cloud Message, you first need to create a list of the kiosks you want to include in the message. Basically, all the kiosks that you include in the list, all users that has previously done a purchase on any of those kiosks will receive the message.

To create your kiosk list, click on New List in the top right corner. Name your list and then search for the kiosks you want to add. Just drag and drop them to the Kiosk List.

 To create the Cloud Message, click on New Cloud Message button in the top right corner.

There are four parameters for the content:

• Title
• Body
• Image URL and
• In-App Text.

 To choose which users will receive your message and when it will it be sent out use the kiosk filter and schedule a send date and time.

To select several kiosk IDs, add them into a kiosk list and choose the list in the dropdown menu. Only users who previously purchased from one of those kiosks will receive the message.

To test your message before sending it to all users add a comma separated list of all app usernames (email addresses) that you want to test with.  Make sure your test devices have notifications enabled for the app. If you are unsure of what to fill out in any of the above fields, you can hoover over the question mark to see a short explanation.

When you are happy with your setup press the Save button to activate the Cloud Message.
